Moveable Do, starting Woodpecker in G, not C.
Here is a classic MMP Fall Festival Song, 'Woodpecker' that is very easy to play on the glockenspiel. Note: We typically start songs in the key of “C”, where “Do” = C, but this key is actually difficult to sing in for children (and many adults). Here, Woodpecker is in the key of ‘G’, it’s much easier to sing along in this key. It’s still easy to play but not as familiar as having ‘C’ as the starting point.
